Turn a vCard .vcf contacts file from iPhone, Android, Google Contacts or Outlook into a clean spreadsheet. No sign-up. Your contacts never leave your device: the conversion runs in this browser tab.
1 Choose your .vcf file
Works with vCard 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0. No file handy?
2 Pick a column layout
3 Download
Opening in Excel? Use the .xlsx: phone numbers keep their + and leading zeros. Importing into Google Contacts, Outlook or a CRM? Use the CSV (UTF-8, so accents survive).
Your file has contacts. The free converter exports the first 50. Pro (unlimited contacts, Outlook import layout, custom column choice, both directions: spreadsheet to vCard too) is coming soon. Join the waitlist for the early-bird price:
Make sure Contacts is turned on in Settings → your name → iCloud.
On a computer, sign in at icloud.com/contacts.
Select all contacts (Ctrl/Cmd + A), click the share or gear button, and choose Export vCard.
iPhone (on the phone)
Recent iOS versions: open Contacts, tap Lists, long-press All Contacts (or one list) and choose Export, then save the .vcf to Files.
Android
Open the Contacts app, go to Fix & manage (or Settings), then Export to file. The .vcf lands in your Downloads folder.
Google Contacts
At contacts.google.com click Export, choose vCard (for iOS Contacts), and download. (Google can also export its own CSV, but the vCard keeps more detail.)
macOS Contacts and Outlook
macOS: select the contacts, then File → Export → Export vCard. Outlook desktop saves one contact at a time as .vcf: select several and drop all the files in at once; this tool merges them into one sheet.
What the spreadsheet contains
Names split into first, middle, last, prefix and suffix, plus the display name.
Every phone number and email, each in its own column (Mobile Phone, Mobile Phone 2, Work Phone...), labels from iPhone exports included.
Addresses split into street, city, state, postal code and country.
Company, department, job title, websites, birthday, groups and notes. Photos are left out to keep the file small.
Contact Converter Pro coming soon
Unlimited contacts, in both directions (vCard to spreadsheet and spreadsheet to vCard)
Outlook import layout and your own choice and order of columns
vCard 2.1 and 4.0 output, one .vcf per contact (zip)
One-time payment, no subscription. Still 100% in your browser.
Desktop converters that do this typically cost $39 or more. Waitlist members get the early-bird price when Pro opens. We will email you once about it, and only about it.
FAQ
Are my contacts uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read and converted by JavaScript in your own browser and never sent to a server. Excel downloads load a spreadsheet writer from a public CDN; your data still stays on your device.
Which vCard versions are supported?
vCard 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0, including quoted-printable names from older Android phones, folded lines, and labelled fields (item1.TEL with a custom label) from iPhone and macOS exports.
Why do phone numbers look wrong in Excel when I open the CSV?
Excel treats numbers starting with + as formulas and drops leading zeros when it opens a CSV. Download the .xlsx instead: every cell is stored as text, so numbers stay exactly as they were.
Can I import the CSV into Google Contacts?
Yes. Choose the Google Contacts import format layout, download the CSV, and use Import at contacts.google.com.
Is there a limit?
The free converter exports up to 50 contacts per file. Pro, for unlimited contacts, is coming soon.
